I haven't sat down to write in a long time. We've been very busy around here. Sophy is as active as ever and we are running to keep up with her. Jeff went away for two weeks to Portugal. He had a good time, but hated the actual travel. I think he was very ready to get home on sunday! Sophy and I toughed it out all alone for two weeks and boy were we glad to have him home! Sophy is one day away from her birthday. It's hard to believe that a year ago I was still pregnant and she wasn't even here yet! In someways it seems like I've known Sophy my whole life and she's always been here, and in other ways I can't believe she's already a year old. It seem like yesterday we were bringing a tiny new bundle home from the hospital! Ok so the last two weeks in reveiw:
Jeff left on a sunday and boy was I sick! I was sick for a full week. On monday after he left Sophy started crawling out of her bed and over her baby gates so I headed off to baby depo for a toddler bed and three new baby gates that she can't crawl over. They worked great. Trish brought her nephews over to use our pool. They had a blast playing in the pool, with our xbox and playing with Sophy. It was super cute. On Sunday I finally started feelingwell again. It was very nice. I had Trish and Aaron over to celebrate her birthday on Tuesday night. Aaron p[layed with Sophy and we all ate a good meal. We had church on Wednesday night and on Thursday I readied for our final garage sale. Jen watched Sophy while I manned the sale on friday and we did very well. On Saturday around noon I was sure we had done all we were going to so Trish and I packed up the remaining stuff. Jeff was supposed to get home on friday night, but didn't make it until early sunday morning instead. So I spent most of saturday cleaning up the hose after the garage sale and cleaning the garage up. When Jeff got home, Surprise! He got to park in the garage too! Both cars finally fit! It was exciting. I made enough in the garage sale to go buy Sophy's birthday present. I can't wait till her party to give it to her. She gets her portrait taken tommorrow and we'll have a little dinner for her. Then her party is saturday. I'm more excited than she is, she doesn't know what's going on! So now we have a week at home before we head off to Omaha with Jeff. That is of course if tinker doens't change their minds about things the night before (they've been know to do that). I guess that's all with us!
My crazy life as I quest to find my true calling in life...Oh and raise a family too.

A trip out to play, the lost post
(This is a lost post. I just realized that I wrote it and never posted it so here it is:)
Today was a really busy day. We have all been sick around here and finally we felt well enough to go out and play a little. I had my crop that I go to each month that is hosted by Trish and Jeff quested with the boys on WoW. Then that evening I took Sophy to a birthday party for a few of the boys at church. We went to a place called Pump it up. they have a lot of those inflateable things to play on. They had a giant slide, a jump house, a obstical course and a few others. I got stuck in the obsticle course. Not easy to do with a baby!
Sophy LOVED it. She jumped and bounced and slide and LAUGHED! I highly recommend this place to other parents because they allow the adults to get in and on the things. It's nice when you have a little one like Sophy. Otherwise I never would have let her on! She'd end up trampled! All the kids had a good time.

Trip to St. Louis Part Two
Well it took me longer than I thought after returning home to get on here to post. So let me think back to our trip....
On Sunday we went to church with Heather and Graham. It is a nice and very friendly church. After church we went to a dollar shop on the way to the house for lunch. I saw a butterfly net and decided to get it for Heather's kids. LilliAnn and Grayson have recently discovered the joy of catching bugs....a joy I DON'T share with them! Grayson immediately took it out to try his luck with Evie at his heels! Boy were they cute running around the backyard in their Sunday clothes. Sophy has been walking very well with help. She got lots of loving and lots of help from her cousins. I'm so glad that she has cousins close to her own age to play with! It makes visits so special. We ate lunch and then the girls went to a GREAT scrapbook store in the neatest mall I've ever been in. They had a huge children play area and it looked very fairytale-ish. I loved it. After that we went swimming and played games in the evening. On Monday we went to the Zoo, Central Station Mall and The Spegetti Factory. It was a really fun day. The zoo is a great Zoo. You could go two or three times and still not see it all. And I LOVE spegetti Factory. It's the first one there ever was. Even before Spegetti Warehouse. There was a guy that walked around doing balloon animals. He made Sophy a balloon Ladybug. It was one of the cutest things! Sophy loved it! Funny story: On the way home from Spegetti Factory Grayson's Balloon Sword popped. He was sad so Graham asked Jeff to give him a toy. Jeff handed him his turtle and he instantly stopped being upset. He held out his now limp balloon to Jeff and said "Thank you you have my sword now". Jeff just took it with a look of "ummm, do I want that?". Tuesday we had a pretty lazy day at the house. Time in the pool, the guys playing games, and lots of Good food. We packed up and went home on wednesday. Sophy hadn't been feeling so great so I called her in an appointment with the doctor for thursday. By Friday I was at the doctor and Jeff was staying home from work. We spent a very sick weekend at home. Jeff is better, not haveing been hit as hard as we were, and is back to work. Sophy is doing better and she even cut another tooth. That makes 5 now. She sure is happier when teeth aren't coming in! I feel a lot better, but still have an awful Cough. It keeps me up most the night it seems. Sophy however is finally sleeping like a rock. So at least that's better now. All in all it was a good trip, but I'm glad to be home and feeling better. I do have to say that St. Louis is a beatiful town and Heather and Graham are lucky to live there. Congrats guys! Pictures: 1- Grayson and Evie hunting for butterflys in the Backyard. 2- Sophy practicing walking with Evie. 3- The family (minus Aaron and Trish, she wasn't feeling too well) at the St Louis Zoo. It was VERY hot! 4- LilliAnn poses with a penguin...no they don't actually let you get THAT close. though they do let you get very close. That is a fake. Good picture though. 5- Grayson with a couple of Lizzards. Great picture of grayson, but also fake lizzards! 6- Grandad carring a VERY grumpy Evie around the zoo. She wouldn't go to anyone else! 7- Heather and Jeff holding Evie in the alley next to Spegetti Factory. If you look in the background you can see the arch! Beautiful City!

Trip to St. Louis Part One
Well we made it to St.Louis. It was a long drive and Sophy cried for the last hour. Not a fun trip, but we made it without anything worse happening. Yesterday we spent the day swimming, cooking, and enjoying our various hobbies. The Boys played WOW and the girls scrapped. It was nice. Sophy was so sleepy and refused to go to bed because her mouth hurt her. Finally she calmed down and Lo and Behold.....Sophy got her 4th tooth. She has two more trying to break through, one of which I think will happen before we leave. So she is making up for all the lost time! She was really cute in the pool. Heather had a baby floaty and we put her in that and she would splash and spin and laugh! It was really cute! I got some pictures, but I'll post them after I get home, no way to link up while I'm here. Man I would love a wireless camera! That would be awesome!
