Contrary to appearances I do NOT beat my child.
Little Lola sat on a wall (couch actually). Little Lola had a great fall (well tumble maybe). And all the kings horses and all the kings men (uhmm, Jessica, the kids, and myself), Couldn't put Lola together again (but we did stop the crying!).
I can relate to that! My wife, who I could not dream of hitting, fell off a stool and suffered a nasty bruise on one side of her face. She was at pains to explain to anyone who saw her that she was NOT a domestic violence victim, but once I knew she was not badly hurt I could not help wondering what people would think!
