So the left out weekend....
So about the weekend....I forgot that I didn't write anything about the weekend. We drove in on thursday after Jeff's office picnic. We got up early on friday to drive to Searcy. We went to the funeral and the grave side. It was a good service. A real celebration of her life. I enjoyed seeing my old friends and oegeans. We were going to hang around, but our original plans fell through and I was feeling ackward. It was weird to be around everyone again. Although everyone was as nice as can be. It was just weird. It reminded me of a time in my life that I have worked hard to get over. A time that I know was important for me to become the person I am today, but still sometimes it easier to just not think about. Anyway so we went back to little rock and spent the evening with my parents. On saturday Mom, Dad, Aaron, Trish, and us all went to Hot springs For the day. We went out to luch, Mini Golfing, and to the bath houses. The girls rode in the convertable and the boys in our car with the baby. It was a nice drive. It was a very hot day. We also went by the vespa dealership to look at them. My mom really wants one. Since We weren't shopping I took it as a photo op! On Sunday after church we had lunch and Jeff and I went to see X3 with Jackie and Max. I hadn't seen them in a long time so it was great! The movie was good, but for a last movie they still set it up for another one. On sunday night I went to sleep for a nap and didn't wake up till 11:00. So I just went back to bed. On Monday there were storms so we decided to go home on tuesday instead. By the time we got home all the rain was gone. It was a good weekend.

Stupid Neighbors
So we went away for the weekend. It was good. Then we came home....
We pulled up and I thought "hmmm we need to mow". It wasn't really bad, but it needed it. I mean we were gone all weekend so it'd been a little over a week. Well I check the mail and find not one but two notes from my neighbors. They said that if we have a home we should take care of it or get rid of it and that if we have pets we should take care of those pets or get rid of them. Now I know that my puppies aren't near as pampered as they used to be, but they are by no means mistreated. We left them in the dog run while we were gone and although they they didn't get their weekly bath they were still provided for. I had Casey checking on them each day and left food in their house and she added more if they needed it. We also left out a bowl of water with the hose in it so they'd always have fresh water. They have a nice big dog house and blankets if they got cold and shade if they were hot. I asked Casey to bring them in if there was bad weather, which there wasn't. I just don't see how they were mistreated? Shurely not so bad that the humane society needs to come take them away! Stupid neighbors. On top of that When Jeff went out to mow he came in and said "did you trim back the tree and cut out those dieing bushes?" I ran outside and found that the dieing bushes are gone completely and where there once was a tree there was now a stick! Who gave anyone the right to come onto my property and cut out my bushes and trim my tree? Even if it needed it (and that tree didn't need it that much!). I went next door and asked the only semi nice neighbor about the note. I didn't think she had done it but I knew that she knew who did! So of course about 30 minutes after a semi pleasent conversation I had the neighbor from across the street come over to yell at me. She didn't even want to talk calmly or anything. She wanted to yell and was totally irrational. She said that if we couldn't afford to pay someone to take care of our yard we shouldn't be living here. She said that if I didn't care for the yard (not that I don't in the first place!) or my pets than there is no way that I cared properly for my daughter. She said she felt sorry for Sophy that she was stuck with such a bad mother. Whoa! That was WAY beyond crossing the line! So now with a little advice from the most wonderful realtor EVER (seriously if you ever want to buy a house she's awesome so call and I'll give you her number) I am documenting everything and making calls. We have a solid case for harassment and destruction of private property. Not that I want it to go that far though. Of course if she pushes me to it it would pay for sophy's college.....hmmmmm. So now Jeff and I will be doing yard work instead of having a garage sale this weekend to fill the giant holes in our flower beds. Stupid Neighbors!
*Note: The first picture is of the yard BEFORE we mowed. The second is the stick that is left of my tree. The third is were my sad looking bushes used to be.

What are we doing?
Iverson Update: So we've been really busy around here. Sophy and I went to the doctor on monday. Sophy is all right, just a little head cold, I on the other hand am very sick to hear the doctor tell it. I feel ok, except for a head ache. She gave me some mondo drugs that knocked me out on monday night. I slept from 5:00pm to 7:00am. I felt great on tuesday though. I ran all my errunds yesterday. Today I am cleaning the house (boy did it need it) and washing clothes. I hope to have us all packed up tonight. We have a picnic with Jeff's office tommorrow. Then we leave for Arkansas. We have the funeral on Friday morning and I'll get to see some of my Oege friends that night. Then Since we're already in town we'll hang with the folks a little before heading home. We were not planning this trip (who ever plans a funeral?) so it kinda came up out of no where. So it'll be quiet on the blog for a few days.
Sophy Update: She has been super cranky lately. She's gotten very clingy and doesn't like to eat "baby food" any more. She wants to feed herself. She also screamed through her bath today, odd, every odd. She normally LOVES her bath! She has a tooth that is So close to breaking through it gives me hope she might get a tooth before 10 months! She has had two big breakthroughs this week. She learned to stop doing whatever she's doing when we say no, she's still not consitant with this one though but hey it's a start! And she's learned to use a sippy cup! Thank You Sara for the advice to use the soft top sippy cups. She loves them. After trying it out I went back and got two more. She still won't use a regular one, but it's a start. We also have started eating cut up cheese, fruits and veggies with out mashing them first. So no more baby food jars! Whoo Hoo! *Note: The picture is of Sophy in the super cute outfit Tammy got her. She's not too happy in it because she wanted me and I wasn't picking her up!

As Promised.....
As promised I'm updating. I haven't felt too great lately. I've run out of Zyrtech and I feel lousy. I think it might have turned into a sinus infection, but I'll get over it. Jeff came home a little early today because Sophy isn't feeling great either and I needed some help. He's giving her a vapor bath while I get to chill out.
It's been very busy around here. We have been cleaning and baby proofing the house for the last week. It's not perfect, but I don't want it to be. It is set up for her to explore without ruining what's important to me or breaking her neck (aka ruining something that is important to me....).
I also promised I would post a few of the Sophy & Molly Pictures once I had them. So Here they are! Didn't they turn out cute? And for those of my friends who don't personally know Katie (Jeff's Sister) she is now expecting! So we'll have three babies to photograph before long. I've been asked by many if this changes my feelings on waiting to have another baby, and the answer is "NO". I'm thrilled with Sophy and we hope to wait as long as God lets us or 3 years to have another, whichever comes first. So God willing it will be a while till Tammy gets another Grandchild from us! I told my mom that She might have started out ahead, but Tammy is catching up fast! She'll have 3 in January and mom will have 4... unless Trish isn't telling us something......hee hee.
We have simple plans for the weekend. I have a crop I go to on the third Saturday of the month which is this Saturday. Yea! It's the one hosted by Trish and they have childcare and it's free. It's a great time to work and relax! I'm looking forward to it! Any ladies that live around here you are welcome to come. It's at the believers Bible Church in Bethany from 12-6. I hope to see some new people! We have a lot of beginners that come so it's a great way to learn more. Plus you get to use other peoples tools and stuff so you don't have to buy them. Jeff let me get (it's easier for me to order it) the Karen Foster Clikit like mom has for Mother's Day so I'm hoping it will be here before Saturday. I also Ordered so Eyelets and brads for a really neat Site called eyeletoutlet.com . I have been without my camera because we left it in Kansas City on accident so Tammy mailed it to me, so I'm also expecting that to come in. So many packages! Jeff plans to play WoW all day on Saturday with the guys. I think those are all our big plans. I know, we're boring.
So hopefully that will tide you curious people over for a little while. As soon as I get my camera back I hope to be posting more regularly.

Something new.....
I know this isn't my style, but hey we have to follow the rules right? At least I added a cute picture of Sophy. It's kinda old so she's bigger now.
Apparently, my punishment for commenting on a friends blog is that I have to repost this thing.
So here goes:
Comment and:
1. I'll respond with something random about you
2. I'll challenge you to try something
3. I'll pick a color that I associate with you
4. I'll tell you something I like about you
5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you
6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of
7. I'll ask you something I've always wanted to ask you
8. If I do this for you, you must post this on yours

Let's try this out!
So it says I can post on my blog by sending an email to a certain email address. So I decided to try it out and see if it would work. Tammy wants to set up a blog for her and Ron's trip over seas this summer. That way us sad non-world traveling people can read all about it and see pictures and know they are alive and all without them having to send a ton of emails to all of us. Also she said it's be like a travel journel to help her remember all the details about her trip. I think that is an excellent idea. Hey mom, maybe you and dad should do that too? Anyway we thought the whole email posting thing would be easier than logging in to post for her trip so I'm trying it out before we set her up with her blog and send her away! Every now and then I like to know the answer when someone asks a question so I've been know to do a little early work every now and again....I know I know me? Work? Shocker!
In other news: Our trip to Kansas City was great. It was nice to see everyone! We got to see MoMo and PoPo too! They came down for church on Sunday! Tammy and I took Molly and Sophy to get their portraits done. Tammy got a 16 x 20 of her two girls! Heather and I also did this for mom with LilliAnn, Grayson, Evie, and Sophy for mother's day. She said she couldn't wait to give it to her, so I hope I'm not ruining a surprise here. The pictures of Sophy and Molly turned out great. As soon as we get them I'll try to post them! Well that was our exciting trip. I can't wait to see everyone again!

Sophy Update!
Sophy went to the doctor on tuesday! We finally got good news. He said she was growing and was now at 25 % for height and weight and 90% for head! She was at 50 % for head last time and 10% for height and weight, so thats some growth! He said she looked great and that we didn't have to come in again until 1 year! Whoo Hoo! Can you believe we are less than 3 months from her 1st birthday! I sent out the email save the date invites to the family party yesterday! Of course I don't have everyone's email so if you're family you are invited to Sophy's birthday Party in August. Just call me for the details. I've included a picture I used for the e-vites.
We are planning on going to Kansas City for the weekend. We leave tommorrow morning. So we'll be out of touch for a few days! If we have bad weather and your near by check on my dogs ok....oh and don't forget about mingo my web pet, he's at the bottom of the page!
